Business owners in the UAE often look for an accountant through a referral, then check who you are before they call. A digital business card for accountants in the UAE gives them your firm, services and contact options in one link they can open from a WhatsApp message, and it stays correct when your services or details change. This guide shows how to set one up with MyInfo.
What an accountant's card needs
Keep it short and specific. A business owner wants to know what you do and how to reach you.
- Name, title and firm. Use the title you actually hold, such as Senior Accountant, Auditor or Tax Consultant.
- Services. Bookkeeping, VAT returns, audit support, payroll or whatever you genuinely offer.
- Credentials. Show the licence or registration of your firm exactly as issued, as covered in showing a trade licence on your card.
- A contact channel. WhatsApp, email or a booking link.
Build the card in a few minutes
- Open /create and sign in with an email code, as in create your first card.
- On the Content tab, set your display name, company and job title, following edit your card details.
- Choose a card address people remember, using choose your card address.
- Add your photo and banner, then save.
List services and credentials with text sections
Use a text section for services, as described in add a text section. Title it "Services" and list them in plain language. A text section holds up to 600 characters, and a free card has one text section while a Premium card has up to three, so you can use a second for credentials and a third for office hours. The same idea is covered in use text sections for services and hours.
Make it easy to start the conversation
Add a button for the way you prefer to be contacted. A booking or payment link works for a consultation page, and a WhatsApp link suits quick questions. On a Premium card, Exchange Contact lets a prospect leave their name and number so you can follow up, as explained in lead capture. If you want to keep a personal number off the card, read keeping your personal number off your card.
What to keep off the card
Anyone with your link can open a public card. Never add a client's name, financial figures, a TRN or any document from a client file. Treat the card like a printed one. If you need to share with a small group only, a Premium card can be set to Private with an access code, as covered in privacy and access. See also the PDPL and your card. This is general information, not legal advice.
One look for the whole practice
If you run a practice with several staff, create a card for each person and give them a shared look using themes and branding. The financial and insurance advisors page shows how related professionals use MyInfo.
